Yoga, Art & Rumi

A chance to view the exhibit or

practice yoga within the space

& then fill up with some more Rumi at the Twig.

Tuesday Oct. 3 at 1pm-2:15pm (ACTIVE Ashtanga Primary Series)
Tuesday Oct. 3 at 2:15pm-3:15pm (Yin Yoga)
Friday Oct. 6  at 1-2:30pm (Ashtanga Yoga Modified Primary)

Yoga:  

Instructor is Mary Martha McNeel.  Sponsored by the Incarnate Word Retirement Community (IWRC) Connections Program.  Yoga classes are held year-round in the Art Forum.  More information at www.gentlewellness.com. Cost for yoga:  Donation requested for yoga class, anywhere from $1-$5 or $10.  Donation helps defray the cost of the minimal rent IWRC Connections program pays UPC for use of the space.  

Featured artist:  

Sarah Ann Jones creates photography, sculpture and installation art through a process of working with her own dreams.  Titles of the pieces are inspired by Rumi poems. A price list for the art on view is available in the church office.  A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to University Presbyterian Church.  More information about the artist at www.sarahannjones.com.

Rumi at The Twig:  

Fill up with more Rumi at The Twig Book Shop.  A special collection of Rumi poetry books is on display during the exhibition.
